Fursan was born back in 1980 and since we have focused on how to improve, evolve and modernise the way to travel.

Our History

Begins in 1980 with our Chairman of the board opening Fursan with one vision "To become the leaders in the travel space in KSA and simplify how travel is planned, sold and managed".

Over the years Fursan has been awarded with more than 200+ recognitions form different important airlines, travel events, and associations.

1980

Fursan Travel is born under the name of Firnas. Operated as a traditional Travel Agency. First branch set in Al-Dhabab

1990

Fursan Travel name was created and implemented in the Saudi Market. Fursan becomes the preferred Government travel agency

1995

Corporate Travel services is kicked off with the first 20 clients signed that year.

2011

Achieved 1bn SAR sales with more than 300 employees supporting more than 400 clients (Corporate and Government)

2012

iTrip wholesaler business is created under the Fursan Group

2014

We achieved +800 clients in Corporate and Government with +300 points of sale .

2018

A new OTA is launched as a beta to test the market

2019

Our OTA reaches the 200m SAR sales and starts competing with big local players (Almosafer, Flyin, etc)

2020

Strong digitalization program launched with very little news provided.

2021

A year of moving to the new. Fursan re-brands, launches a new branded Online Travel Agency focussing more on Experiences. More exciting news to come.
